About this Opportunity We are seeking to recruit experienced Production Operators to support our operation. This is a shift work role based in our Clarence Gardens site. We may have multiple vacancies in different roles (we may have permanent, fixed term, or casual roles available).
We are looking for someone positive, curious, engaging, and committed that likes to learn new things whilst working in a fast-paced environment. * To be considered for this position you will preferably have experience as a Production Operator in the food industry and ideally have a forklift driver's license.
Some of the main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Machine operation (Hands-On Skills)Knowledge- operation of a box packer (ideal)Knowledge of how to operate a filler (ideal)Experience in blowmould (ideal)Experience using the palletizerTroubleshootingCleaning of equipmentQuality Checks during production timesSet up of equipmentOrdering of stockFollow processes & proceduresMaintain a clean stationHigh standards of Quality & SafetyHave the ability to analyze mechanical issues and identify the root causes of problemsAt this level, you may need to perform the following tasks or have the following skills:
Operation of mobile equipment including fork-lifts, hand trolleys, and pallet trucksKnowledge of how production operatesAble to make decisions and plan aheadGood analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of GMPYou must have good written and oral communication skills, be self-motivated, have a strong focus on safety, environment, and quality, and be able to work as part of an effective team.
