THE COMPANY We are currently recruiting motivated and reliable production operators for our manufacturing client who have a fantastic facility located in Truganina!
This position is working Monday to Friday every week, 7:00am start to 3:30pm with the occasional early finish on a Friday when its not busy.
During the peak production times you will be required to work overtime on a daily basis, and could be working up to 10 hour shifts each day to keep up with production requirements.
Peak time hours change to 6am-4pm Mon-Fri and Saturdays are required (and paid at a casual OT rate!)
Duties Include: Operation of variety of machines in a manufacturing environmentAssist with blending and coating of productsWork on the line feeding raw materials into the machinesChecking the quality and packaging finished productsAbility to read work order forms and adjust required quantities and products accordinglyBlending and mixing of raw materials according to work order formsPacking, wrapping and storing palletsHeavy lifting of material bags up to 25 kg on a regular basisWork with a sense of urgency to achieve productions goals and targetsThe successful applicants: Have excellent written, verbal and mathematical skillsA desire to work hard and get the job donePhysically fit and able to lift up to 25kgPossess a great work ethic and able to work as part of a teamMust be able to pass a drug & alcohol.In return for your effort: Work with a great group of people with excellent work & safety cultureState of the art warehouse, manufacturing facility and head office siteFree onsite parkingWeekly work lunches and Friday BBQOpportunity for permanent full time employmentParticipation in safety walks and learning within a strong safety culture
