The Operator role will be required to escalate any issues on the line and engage the Shift Leader if input from the Maintenance team is required.You will play a key role in delivering a Continuous Improvement mindset and initiatives to process 28,000 tonnes of baled post-consumer PE per annum.Your key responsibilities will be to:Comply with WHSE procedures and directions and follow reasonable instructions, working towards Goal Zero at all timesProvide relevant licences and permits to supervisor where requiredContribute to product quality through inspection and testing where specified on Operator's Instruction sheetsAdvise Supervisors or Technicians promptly of WHSE, Quality, Maintenance or People issuesWork effectively to ensure quality products are produced in a timely manner and in a cost-effective way.Communicate to the oncoming shift any relevant information necessary to maintain a safe workplace which produces quality produce, in line with customer specificationsHousekeeping of workstations during shift, with a final clean up at the end of the shift.QualificationsYour skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you'll have:Min.
2 years relevant experience in a 24/5 operationExperience in PEpost-consumer plastics recycling and/or other plastics recycling highly regardedSuperior communication skills.
