Operating 24 hours a day, six days a week across 9 lines the site is highly automated and is the largest yogurt facility in Australia. As a Packaging Operator, you will report to the Manufacturing Team Leader and be responsible for ensuring all packaging functions are carried out in an effective, efficient, and timely manner focusing on quality, safety & cost. Operators in this role may be required to change tasks throughout the day depending on labour demand, including but not limited to alternating across filling machines or departments.Responsibilities Report all safety incidents and maintenance requirementsRecord and maintain accurate testing and production-related data in the systemMaintain the production area and equipment clean & tidy as per the required standardsAbiding all company's safety procedures and policiesReducing downtime and basic troubleshootingAbout you Experience in a manufacturing/warehousing environment (Desired)Basic mechanical knowledge is highly regardedSelf-starter, able to operate independentlyGood Problem-Solving SkillsComputer literateThe Bega Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
