Production Operator

Who will you be working with? Our client is an industry leader in agribusiness, supplying crop nutrients, feed, crop protection and services internationally. The Production Operator will carry-out general manufacturing floor duties such as decanting and mixing chemicals, operating equipment, and occasional storeperson duties. Experience working with chemicals will be highly regarded. What are the benefits? • Join a world class agribusiness! • Friendly team environment • On-going casual position with training provided • Early morning shift - 6am - 2.30pm Duties of the role include (but are not limited to): • Transfer and decant chemicals safely from one container to another, ensuring no spills. • Maintain batch records and documentation • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment • Adhere to safety procedures to reduce potential hazards related to the handling of chemicals • Correct use and maintenance of personal protective equipment • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production operations. Essential skills and requirements: • Strong experience in a busy GMP manufacturing environment • Chemical handling and mixing experience • Great team player attitude and good interpersonal skills • Physical fitness and great health – There is some lifting up to 25 Kgs involved • Good communication skills, both written and verbal + basic computer skills • Great attention to detail / Takes pride in quality of work Desirable skills: • Completed a course in a Dangerous Goods Awareness and/or Transport of Dangerous Goods Applications in Word Format will only be considered (No PDF Documents please).
