Job Description :Mars Birdcare is seeking driven and motivated individuals to join their Production crew as Operators. You will be the heart of the company, ensuring our products are delivered to a high standard and meeting supplier demands.As a Mars Operator, your days will be filled with grainy goodness, you will be accountable for the performance of several machines, processes and pieces of equipment to ensure all products are being delivered on time and to standard, this is your opportunity to join a global company that values the development of all employees.What are we looking for?Manufacturing or FMCG experience is desirable, but not essentialStrong problem-solving abilitiesMechanical training or similar background - preferred but not essentialHave the ability to work as part of a team and autonomouslyWillingness to learn & developStrong attention to detailWhat will be your key responsibilities?Responsible for monitoring and running multiple pieces of equipment through the usage of software interface systems as well as physical checksCommunicate directly with the maintenance department to coordinate maintenance repair in a productive mannerAssist with diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance related issuesSafely and continuously operate multiple pieces of equipment to product quality products on timeEnsuring quality & safety procedures are followed and providing thorough handovers.What can you expect from Mars?Genuine career progression with a focus on you and your career goals.
