Add sweetness to your day by working with everyone's favourite chocolate brands and be part of the growing team at Mars Confectionary.Mars Confectionary is seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join their Production crew as Operators. You will be the heart of the company, ensuring our sweet products are delivered to a high standard and meeting supplier demands.
As a Mars Operator, your days will be filled with chocolatey goodness and sweet smells. You will be accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, and pieces of equipment to ensure all products are being delivered on time and to standard.
This is a rotating shift pattern, 24/5, on 12-hour shifts. What are we looking for?Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not essentialA keen eye for detail and the ability to work well independently and within a teamMechanical aptitude is a plus, but curiosity and enthusiasm are essentialWillingness to learn & developWhat will be your key responsibilities?Safely & competently operate all equipmentEnsure all products are manufactured to Mars standardsKeep your workspace organised, promoting a safe and welcoming environmentCollaborate with team members to improve processes and reach shared goalsPlan ahead by checking schedules and communicating effectively to ensure smooth handoversCommunicate with the maintenance department to coordinate maintenance repair in a productive mannerWhat can you expect from Mars?Genuine career progression with a focus on you and your career goals.
