Production Operator

We are seeking applicants who are reliable, have an outstanding work ethic, a good mechanical aptitude, and can work effectively in a manufacturing environment. Who will you be working with? Our client is a global packaging company who manufacture a range of glass and aluminium packaging products to be supplied locally and internationally to the beverage industry. As a Production Operator, you will be working a rotating 12-hour shift (7am – 7pm and 7pm – 7am). What are the benefits? • Long term stability • Ongoing training and development • Professional and friendly work environment • Competitive salary Duties of the role include: • Maintain safety, quality, and manufacturing standards • Operate high speed machinery • Troubleshoot machines and perform changeovers • Carry out basic maintenance tasks on the production line • Perform quality checks • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) What do you need? • Proven experience working as a production / machine operator • Excellent communication skills – Both written and verbal • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills • Ability to work across a 24-hour rotating shift pattern • Ability to follow instructions consistently and take on board feedback • Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship If you think this could be the role for you then please apply now!
