Haynes currently have an opportunity for an experienced Production Operator to join our valued client based in Dubbo.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperating machinery to complete customers' orders to specification within agreed schedule.Performing regular maintenance on production equipment to prevent breakdowns.Keeping a close watch on the production process to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.Running and monitoring machines used in various stages of steel production, such as furnaces, rolling mills, and casting machines.Inspecting raw materials and finished products for defects or inconsistencies.Moving semi-finished and finished steel products within the facility using cranes, forklifts, or other equipment.Successful Candidate mustHold a current C Class Drivers License + Reliable Transport.Be Physically Fit – able to undertake manual handling.Have prior experience with sheet metal folding.Hold a current forklift license with proven experience.Have the ability to work in a team environment and hold a sound understanding of safety in the workplace.Possess computer knowledge – advantageous.Be mechanically minded – advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
