The Production Operator will be responsible for manufacturing steel fence components and gates.
Responsibilities: Following instruction from all Supervisors/ManagersEnsuring that all set Production targets are met or exceededCarry out general yard or laboring duties as requiredEnsuring that general housekeeping is to a high standardOperate a forklift truck or lorry loader (only if externally trained, certificated and authorised to do so)Operate other plant/machinery (only if trained and authorised to do so)Weld to a good and acceptable standard (only if trained and correctly authorised to do so)Ensure that all vehicles are correctly and safely loaded/unloadedEnsure that all equipment is of the correct quantity and fit for purposeEnsure that any defective plant/machinery/equipment is reported and quarantined as requiredEnsure that all employees carry out their duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures as set out in the Company Employee handbook and current legislation and risk assessmentsReport any accidents immediatelyEnsure all appropriate PPE is worn when requiredEnsure that the integrity and image of the Company is maintained at all timesJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
