Holcim is currently expanding their Mt Louisa team and as a result, we are looking for a Production Officer for their Concrete plant. We are more than happy to train the right person; however, you would need to have current competency on Front End Loader operations.
Roles in Concrete Plants are fast-paced and will require you to be a strong problem solver, process-driven with a high level of attention to detail.
Start times can vary depending on operational requirements; however, you can expect to start between 5am and 6am most mornings, with the occasional earlier start required.
Duties and responsibilities:Support and display a strong safety culture at all timesProduction of concrete using multiple systems and processesAllocating and assigning loads to driversStock management and coordination of deliveriesManaging contractors carrying out site maintenanceProvide high level customer service to our clientsAbout you:You will be a team player with a strong work ethic & a genuine interest in building a career with us. We will train you up on our systems; however, you will come to us with a good level of computer skills (Word, Excel & Google Docs). You will have a keen interest in learning new computer systems, audit processes, and a variety of other duties. The key to succeeding in this role is your excellent communication skills (both written & verbal), the ability to pick up computer systems quickly, and your outstanding customer service.
You will be required to pass a police check, as well as a full medical which includes functional assessment, and drug & alcohol screening.
