Production Mine Operators

We are excited to share that we have just signed a 4yr extension at Kogan Creek, with the contract term now until June 2030.
Golding are currently seeking  Production Mine Operators  to work at our Kogan Creek Mine, located near Chinchilla .
Permanent and Casual opportunities available This is a residential role (accommodation is not provided)  Roster is  5 day shifts Monday to Friday for two weeks and 4 night shifts Monday to Thursday for two weeks The Position We are looking for Production Mine Operators that can operate and are experienced in operating at least one of the following: Hitachi EX 1900 Excavators Hitachi EX 2600 Excavator Komatsu PC3000 Excavators Komatsu 375 & 475 Dozers Caterpillar 16H & 16M Graders Caterpillar 785 Haul Trucks Komatsu 785 Water Trucks Role requirements Demonstrated ability in applying the site safety systems requirements Demonstrated safe, professional and productive behaviour Current Training Transcripts Current Drivers Licence Current Standard 11 Current Coal Board Medical (or ability to pass) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A as required Current Trainer Assessor qualifications and/or experience in a mining environment would be highly regarded People with pit dewatering experience are  also encouraged to apply About you We are looking for candidates who place the highest value on the safety of themselves and their colleagues.
