Production Mine Operators

We are excited to share that we have just signed a 4yr extension at Kogan Creek, with the contract term now until June 2030.Golding are currently seeking Production Mine Operators to work at our Kogan Creek Mine, located near Chinchilla.
Permanent and Casual opportunities availableThis is a residential role (accommodation is not provided) Roster is 5 day shifts Monday to Friday for two weeks and 4 night shifts Monday to Thursday for two weeksThe PositionWe are looking for Production Mine Operators that can operate and are experienced in operating at least one of the following: Hitachi EX 1900 ExcavatorsHitachi EX 2600 ExcavatorKomatsu PC3000 ExcavatorsKomatsu 375 & 475 DozersCaterpillar 16H & 16M GradersCaterpillar 785 Haul TrucksKomatsu 785 Water Trucks Role requirements Demonstrated ability in applying the site safety systems requirementsDemonstrated safe, professional and productive behaviourCurrent Training TranscriptsCurrent Drivers LicenceCurrent Standard 11Current Coal Board Medical (or ability to pass)Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A as requiredCurrent Trainer Assessor qualifications and/or experience in a mining environment would be highly regardedPeople with pit dewatering experience are also encouraged to apply About youWe are looking for candidates who place the highest value on the safety of themselves and their colleagues.
