Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) My client is a highly reputable and respected manufacturer in specialised heavy transport equipment , based in Melbourne's northern suburbs.

The Role: Lead a production team of 25. Lead, drive and coach all manufacturing/production staff. Be responsible for the management, supervision and control of the manufacturing/production process to ensure productions runs reliably, efficiently and stays on schedule. Work closely and cohesively with the director and production planning team in planning, scheduling, and organisation of the manufacturing/production process to meet production schedules aligned with client time frames. Attention to detail, maintaining exceptional quality to uphold company values. Identify continuous improvement opportunities and maintain and develop best practices. You: 5+ years' experience in a similar role. Strong leadership skills. Long-term exposure in a heavy manufacturing environment. Demonstrate strong OHS knowledge and genuine care for safety. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong Excel skills. Trade qualifications in welding are advantageous, though strong knowledge and background in fabrication without a trade certificate is equally desirable.
