Are you an experienced production professional ready to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? We are seeking a dedicated Production Manager to oversee our PM shift operations within a well-established and growing meat processing facility.
About the Role As the Production Manager , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of production activities during the PM shift. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a team of dedicated staff to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Oversee daily production operations for the PM shift, ensuring compliance with schedules and production targets. Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team to foster a culture of high performance and collaboration. Monitor and ensure adherence to quality standards, food safety regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Manage staffing, training, and performance to align with business objectives. Analyze production data and prepare shift performance reports for senior management. What We're Looking For Proven experience in a production management role, ideally within the meat processing, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively. A solid understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety regulations. Demonstrated ability to meet production KPIs and implement process improvements. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
