Description As the Production Manager (Night Shift), your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing and coordinating night shift production activities to meet output targets.Managing and coordinating training and qualification requests for operators.Determining hiring needs (internal, external, temporary) and subcontracting requirements.Overseeing the industrial process hand-over from PME to manufacturing.Coordinating the deployment of the Alstom Performance Management System (APSYS).Monitoring SQCD performance and associated KPIs for the Production Unit's activities.Continuously improving SQCD performance within the EPU activities.Optimising workstations/work centres using Alstom Performance System (ALPS) Tools.Implementing and maintaining 5S standards.Ensuring adherence to lean principles.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve on-time delivery.Providing manufacturing feedback for first trains/products to support functions and improve SQCD performance.Profile Qualifications:* Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications.* Previous experience in operational industrial environments.Experience:* Experience in the railway industry, ideally in an industrialisation or automotive manufacturing setting.* Good knowledge of special processes such as welding, fabrication, crimping, etc.* Team management experience, including leading cross-functional teams.* Understanding of end-to-end industrial processes, from engineering deliverables to final delivery.* Familiarity with manufacturing processes and technologies.Skills:* Excellent leadership and team management skills.* Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
