Production Manager (Lostock)

Involved in the UK's highest profile building projects such as the Shard, 22 Bishopsgate and Tottenham stadium.As a Production Manager your role will oversee the production of fabricated steel throughout the factory during the shift.Your role is to oversee all aspects of the business and coordination of the shift teams within the processing, fabrication & despatch functions. You will need to be safety driven & have an attention to detail, working safely and efficiently to deliver high end products on target within budgeted hours.You will support forward planning and management within all aspects of the business and prioritise projects within each specific area. You will adjust manning levels per department in accordance with complexity of the product, workload and experience of the operatives working in the area.This role will be based at our site in Lostock. Within this role, you will be responsible for all areas working on shift. We have a night shift position available. Night shift hours are Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday night, 18.00 - 06.30. Thursday night 18.00- 03.30 with a 30 minute unpaid break each shift.To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate you have experience at a Team Leader/ Supervisory level or higher in a steel manufacturing/production environment. You must also be confident using Microsoft packages such as Excel and Outlook.
