You will have the ability to really influence the direction and results of the business. We are a made-to-order business, driving quality improvements to ensure customer satisfaction will be one of your top priorities along with driving the LEAN and continuous improvement methodology, designing and implementing strategies to improve production performance.In addition, you'll:Improve engagement and culture through leadership, training, and mentorship.Drive training initiatives and processes to develop team members.Maintain timely production schedules and communicate issues or delays.Ensure all resources are used to optimise output.Maintain a strong customer focus.About YouWe're looking to leverage your experience in people management in a building materials manufacturing environment, along with the ability to adapt to the complexities of our manufacturing business. Balancing competing priorities and demands comes naturally to you. Experience in managing and growing the capability of a medium-sized team (35 - 55) of skilled members whilst maintaining high levels of employee engagement is key deliverables of this role.You need to have an open and transparent communication style, including the ability to gain trust and elicit support from others.
