Based in the Northern suburbs of MelbournePermanent opportunity on afternoon shiftMonday to FridayAbout the company/role: Reputable dairy manufacturing company.

Duties, but not limited to: Manage the entire production operations, technicians and other manufacturing staff.Provide training to new staff and ongoing development for existing staff.Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback and implement corrective actions.Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer orders and demand forecasts.Ensure adequate staffing, materials and equipment are available and properly allocated.Work closely with other departments such as Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain.Maintain adherence to quality and regulatory standards.Identify areas for continuous improvement, safety risks and analyse production processes to identify inefficiencies.Involved in audits. Skills & experience: Proven experience in a Management position in dairy manufacturing or similar highly regulated food manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge and understanding of dairy products and processes.Tertiary education in chemistry or engineering (highly advantageous).Excellent communication and time management skills.Team collaboration and strong leadership skills.
