Manufacturing - Ballarat | Manufacturing/Operations Company Information: The MaxiTRANS business is currentlyexpanding. MaxiTRANS has committed to capital works andtaking manufacturing of our products into the future. Based inBallarat, we are currently seeking an experienced ProductionManager to lead and guide the team. Reporting to the GeneralManufacturing Manager, the Production Manager is a member of theManagement Team and is responsible for planning and directing theoperations of the department to achieve planned production whilstemploying safe work practices, and meeting quality standards,within workforce and budgets. Key Responsibilities: Proven experience in leading Advanced ManufacturingTechnology. Improve overall performance by reducing inefficiencies anddriving continuous improvement processes. Manage organisational objectives covering deliveryimprovement, process efficiency and product quality.Monitor and improve performance by aligning resources tomaximise output. Develop and lead continuous improvement plans andobjectives ensuring they are delivered in full and ontime. Participate and lead approved operating plans, budgets, andcapital expenditure proposals for the site. Develop, implement, monitor and review labour schedules,effective production methods and site processes to achieveefficient performance. Ensures that finished products are delivered on time andmeet agreed quality standards. Develop and improve manufacturing efficiencies to reducecosts, resources and overhead costs. About You: Well-developed people management skills Tertiary qualifications are preferred (Engineering orLogistics) 7 years of experience or equivalent in manufacturingenvironment. Have well developed communication skills. Ability to motivate and encourage and exemplify acontinuous improvement mindset. Proven planning skills. Well-developed knowledge of advanced manufacturingtechnology. Working knowledge of production activities that depend oninformation, automation, computation, software, andnetworking. Pluses Transport manufacturing experience would be anadvantage. What we Offer?
