This role will assist throughout the product development process by supporting the Creative Director in maintaining production schedules and detailed handover style packs to ensure product delivery on time, to pre-determined quality and specification requirements.

Please note: This is a Fixed Term Contract of 12 Months IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL NEED TO:  Assist with setting seasonal booking deadlines Create and implement critical paths with the design team and suppliers.Manage weekly production meetings with the design teamAssist in monthly handovers with suppliers and address production issues as required.Collate data and report on costings and first margin information by department and by supplier.Manage costing document handover to the planning department for all styles and assist the design department with costings issues and supplier cost negotiations.Manage deliveries on a macro level by collating delivery information from all departmentsAssist the design team with the management of internal delivery schedules and liaise with shipping and planning departments to ensure internal and external shipping requirements are met.Raise and manage claims on faulty products with suppliers and finalise claims and destruction of faulty goods in collaboration with shipping and accounts departments.On-site 5 days per week in our St Kilda Rd offices.THE PERFECT FIT: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production coordination within the fashion industry, preferably with experience in women's fashion apparel and offshore productionA relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design or a related fieldExperience with working with both cut and sew and woven products will be essential.An ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues to ensure smooth operations.Collaborative attitude to work effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive work environment.Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in production schedules, costings, and quality standards.Proficiency in computer skills, especially in all MS Office programs such as Excel.ADDED BENEFITS: Up to 50% off new-season Commonry styles Generous team member discount across all Brandbank brands.Supportive team culture and environmentOpportunity to work for a uniquely Australian Retail Group with a global visionJoin a new brand to the market of high-quality, inclusively sized fashionEmployee Referral Program – be rewarded for referring great new people to our teamWHY COMMONRY?
