Production Manager

Makibe Australia has a household family-owned client looking for a Production Manager in the food and FMCG segment. Strong organisational and people leadership skills are a must, with a proven track record. The role is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations, maximising efficiency and profitability.
Salary starting around 140k with excellent facilities, free product, and benefits below:
Reporting to the Managing Director Monday - Friday (dayshift only) 2-week shutdown over Christmas Public holidays off Onsite cafe - half price for staff Opportunity to make a real difference. Experience:
Food manufacturing experience. Excellent people management skills; lead, mentor, and improve culture. Manage leave, staff interactions, discipline, and new staff onboarding. Experience with continuous improvement of processes and SOPs. Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, Safety/OHS. Mechanically minded and able to assist with troubleshooting. Solid computer and literacy skills. Pastry background desired but not essential. Please contact Greg for further details.
