Job DescriptionAbout this opportunity The Production Manager will control production planning and capacity to meet customer demand within set lead times. You will manage an accurate forecast system by coordinating with sales and planning teams, ensuring production orders are closed on time to meet delivery deadlines.
Additionally, the Production Manager will liaise with Production, Quality, Sales Support, and Technical teams. The role also includes improving plant efficiency by optimizing the production schedule and run size to maximize asset utilization.
Your key responsibilities will be to: Coordinate production workflow for multiple products across various lines.Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.Determine and secure manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, stock replenishment and continuously monitor inventory levels.Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.Address issues as they arise aiming for minimum disruption.Prepare and submit status and performance reports.Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff.Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Minimum of Five (5) yearsas a Production Manager within a manufacturing backgroundExcellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principlesExperience in SAP ERP system (essential)Production and Materials planning experience is important also (BOM's, workflow planning etc)Strong organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication abilitiesSafety before Production leadership behaviours and an absolute commitment to WHSE and quality management.Ability to remain resilient, calm and composed when under pressure.QualificationsA bachelor's degree, preferably in operations management or industrial engineering, from an accredited university. #J-18808-Ljbffr
