PERSOLKELLY are in partnership with our client based in Emu Plains who are a leading manufacturing company specialising in Architectural panels.
Seeking a Production Manager to oversee projects within the architectural industry, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards through effective team coordination and problem-solving.
Your Key Responsibilities will be:
Supervise and manage production tasks and a team of up to 20 people, helping them learn different skills
Communicate between the office and factory
Develop and maintain production schedules, monitor productivity, and manage dispatch
Handle inventory management and coordinate the ordering of raw materials
Utilize your expertise in CNC programming, quality improvement, and regular maintenance to drive operational excellence
Reporting and liaising with the General Manager to expand production capabilities, aiming to enhance offerings and revenue
What you will bring to the role:
Ability to manage a team
Experienced in manufacturing and managing teams
Knowledge of 5S, quality control, standard procedures, balanced production, and DMAIC is helpful.
Actively involved in making things better
Responsible and takes initiative
Experience with CAD, CAM, or painting is a bonus
Speaking both English and Mandarin is preferred but not essential
Skills and Experience:
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Experience working with store linings
Experience working on or with CNC machines
Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
Essential Requirments:
Must be able to undertake a Medical
Must have Driver's license and vehicle
Available to work 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
