Based Near Ingleburn, Work-life balance, Monday to FridayCollaborate in a team that promotes support, training and positive cultureOffering $140k to $150k + Super (Depending on Experience) The Business:Currently in search of an established Production Manager for one of Australia's largest food manufacturers operating out of their flagship highly automated site. The business has invested significantly in recent years and can boast one of the most advanced sites with major future potential. The products are recognised across certain restaurants and cafe's. The role will be reporting into the site manager whilst having full responsibility for c.120 staff. This position is not for an average performer - it offers daily variety and challenges and the scope to make a direct and expected contribution to the company's performance. The role will be hands-on from time to time with trying to coach and mentor supervise/team leaders onsite. Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of experienced operators and supervisors by setting performance and development plans.Oversee all the production and hands-on management when priorities arise. Responsible for shift operations during production cycles.Investigate, analyse, and implement preventative actions for quality and safety incidents or near & consistently keep KPI's high while improving efficiencies and productivity in production.About you:Prior experience in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment.Degree or Trade qualifications, with strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safe Operating Procedures and HACCP principles.Training in LEAN Six Sigma or equivalent is desirable.Strong leadership capability with experience leading a team of trades.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with a variety of you have worked in food manufacturing or experience in Dairy manufacturing site this is desired. You must have full working rights in Australia for this position.
