In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the supervision of the Assembly Production Team whilst providing support to the Manufacturing Manager. You will have oversight of assigned production activities and ensure staff operate safely as well as:Supervise and co-ordinate the production staffAssist the Production Manager in implementing and maintaining a Master Production Schedule and reporting systemAssist the Production Manager in ensuring staff are trained to the required level and that training records are kept.Ensure that production carry out soldering of electrical connections, cabling and looming, and electronic testing to the relevant IPC and other workmanship standardsYour Experience:Tertiary qualification or suitable trade backgroundStrong experience in the manufacturing of complex systemsPractical knowledge of production methods & procedures, equipment & materialsFamiliarity with detailed engineering drawings and schedulesAbility to control a production team, and to maintain a harmonious work environmentAbility to train and mentor staff in new tasks.
