Our client is looking for a Production Manager to lead their operations in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.
An exciting opportunity to play a lead role in driving manufacturing onsite while also driving improvement activities and initiatives cross-functionally. Play a lead role in driving best practice from a CI and operations perspective. Be a key stakeholder in continuing to drive the culture forward for the site and invest in its people by playing a supporting role with regards to upskilling, coaching, and training in relation to production activities.
Primary Responsibilities:Production ManagementManage all areas of plant production to deliver products that meet the quality, cost, volume, and service criteria.Increase production and asset capacity while minimising waste.Develop and implement plans to ensure accurate level volume of production for each product produced.Safety:Ensure the safety of all production employees onsite, committing to and setting standards on work safe procedures and lead work safe behaviours.Leadership:Add capability to the production team influencing and providing direction across operations and manufacturing.Lead in a proactive way to achieve optimal results across the site with the ability to engage across all levels.Work collaboratively and effectively with other key senior stakeholders onsite and across the business.What will you need to be successful?Experience in similar leadership roles in an FMCG, Chemical Manufacturing, or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment.Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline.Experience at the Production Management level.Proactive leader with the ability to achieve results quickly and influence the team.What's next?If you think this opportunity sounds right for you, click APPLY NOW to send your application or contact David Oliver for a confidential discussion on .
