Production Manager Location Deeside Salary Negotiable + pension + benefits A genuinely superb & quite unique opportunity for a production manager to join a market leading business to help setting up and shaping a department. The Job: Reporting into the Head of Manufacturing, initially there will be 2 x Team Leaders reporting into the Production Manager but this will likely grow There will be approximately 20 Production Operators. Responsible from production teams across a 3 shift pattern. Help set up the plant / factory , oversee and have some input and awareness of the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment Help build the team and culture. Assist with training and mentoring instilling a safety culture and a professional, supportive, collaborative and inclusive environment. The Person: Min 3 years in a production manager / supervisor role within an FMCG or similar manufacturing environment eg materials manufacturing, packaging, etc Good understanding of LEAN, 5s, Kaizen, Short Interval Control (SIC) would be an advantage Engaging leadership and good communication and collaboration skills important. Coaching and mentoring style, understand people, machinery, quality, HSE.
