About The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our Acacia Ridge production line in Brisbane, focused on bus assembly.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will work closely to manage daily operations, optimise efficiency, and uphold our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities Cultivate a highly engaged, high-performing team working towards agreed targets in a collaborative environment.Manage factory labour, oversee production schedules, and ensure timely delivery of buses while maintaining the highest quality standards.Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing principles, to streamline operations and reduce costs.Ensure a safe and clean production area, compliant with all safety regulations and company policies.Work closely with procurement, warehousing, and manufacturing teams to align resources and maintain smooth operations.Develop training plans to enhance the skills of production line staff, promoting growth and long-term planning for the team.Establish and track KPIs to drive production efficiency, addressing issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.Participate in long-term planning, identifying and addressing inefficiencies and bottlenecks within the production process.Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 8 years in a similar role, with experience in managing and building production teams.Experience in vehicle production or similar industries is an advantage.Excellent organisational, time management, and attention-to-detail abilities.Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.Ability to foster a positive team environment, demonstrating professional communication, attitude, and presentation.Thrives in fast-paced settings, open to change, and maintains a proactive, 'Can Do' attitude.What We Offer A long term secure position within a company that is experiencing rapid growthWork alongside a collaborative team committed to our shared goalsEmployee Assistance Program, for you and your immediate familyReferral ProgramTo succeed in this role, you will be agile to change and have strong problem solving, organisational, and listening skills.
