Production Manager

Summary: The Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our production department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the department, ensuring timely and efficient production of goods and services, and maintaining accurate records of all dispatch activities.
Responsibilities: Create and maintain a production schedule Train new employees Schedule regular maintenance for equipment Maintain budget expectations Purchase required materials Manage any incidents or suspicions of food contamination and notify the Warehouse Manager Ensure that all food items are properly stored to prevent spoilage Ensure that health and safety protocols are adhered to Ensure all products are appropriately packaged for sale Ensure your department is clean and disinfected for food preparation before and after each use Qualifications: Proven experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred. Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations. The ability to follow proper food handling procedures. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments. Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy Ability to lift heavy objects (25kg) and perform physical tasks as required during warehouse operations.
