Production Manager

A magnificent power station from the 1920s reborn as an arts centre on the Brisbane River (Maiwar), Brisbane Powerhouse is a premier destination for contemporary culture and art. With over 1,750 performances and events each year, we offer a diverse program of music, theatre, comedy, dance, film, visual arts, in-conversation, and digital arts.

We are looking for a Production Manager on a six-month, full-time contract to maintain our high standards and continue delivering exceptional service to our clients. In this role, coordinate and oversee the end-to-end delivery of all the Brisbane Powerhouse's technical production and logistical services, effectively and efficiently providing a high level of service to all internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will have at least five years of relevant experience in theatrical and venue production management based in a theatre company, large venue, major festival, or entertainment environment. You will have demonstrated experience delivering corporate events and a thorough understanding of all aspects involved in technical production, including staging, lighting, audiovisual, rigging, automation, and set construction.
