As the organisation continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead their operations in Lonsdale.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to direct and optimise manufacturing processes within a large-scale, complex environment.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering a safety-first culture, promoting continuous improvement, and developing manufacturing best practices.
This is a full-time permanent position that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct daily operations to achieve production targets while ensuring compliance with quality, efficiency, and safety standards.Promote a safety-first culture, leading root cause investigations on safety incidents.Develop suitable department Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct regular audits.Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and collaboration.Oversee costs related to production consumables, energy consumption, labour overtime, etc.Assist in the development of production budgets, monitoring expenses against targets.Lead Continuous Improvement methodology across Production.Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.Support the organization's commitment to quality and environmental standards.Ensure available head count and trained shift resources are aligned to company capacity plans.Key requirements:
Minimum 5 years Production Management experience in a high-volume multi-shift facility.Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.Strong experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.Proven ability to lead change and team accountability.Experience in department budgeting, rostering and training.Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.Understanding of relevant safety regulations and compliance.Achievement of high standards in ethics, values, and company culture.Why Join EC Carpets:
