Production Manager - Heavy Steel FabricationPinches Group is seeking a highly proficient and motivated Production Manager to oversee production at our manufacturing facility in Reservoir, managing a skilled team of fitters, turners, and boilermakers.Pinches is a leading manufacturer of meat processing equipment for the rendering industry, specializing in the manufacture of pressure vessels, conveyors, and related components.Qualifications and ExperienceCertificate III in Engineering (Metal Fabrication or Fitter & Turner) (or equivalent)Medium to heavy engineering/fabrication experience is advantageousSound understanding of welding processes and/or fitting and machiningFabrication/fitting/machining experienceTasks & ResponsibilitiesForecasting and programming jobs and allocating tasks to individual workersReading and interpreting design drawings and specificationsMonitoring job times and optimizing efficiency on the factory floorEnsuring safe work practices are followedCommunicating with the Purchasing Officer, General Manager, and Engineering Department.Skills and AttributesExperience and knowledge reading and interpreting drawings and specificationsStrong sense of teamworkAbility to problem solve and multitaskYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have fabrication experience?
