As the Production Manager for Contract Projects at Haneco Lighting, you will play a crucial role in overseeing production processes and ensuring the successful execution of contract-based projects.
This position involves close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to deliver high-quality lighting solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities: 1.
Production Management: Oversee all aspects of production for contract projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and efficient production processes.
Monitor production schedules and resource allocation, addressing any issues that arise to prevent delays.

Contract Coordination: Manage contract terms related to production, ensuring that all deliverables meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
Act as the primary liaison for clients regarding production-related inquiries, providing updates on progress and resolving any concerns.
Collaborate with internal departments (R&D, sales, logistics) to integrate production capabilities into project planning and execution.

Supply Chain and Logistics: Ensure efficient supply chain operations by coordinating logistics for materials and finished products.
Work closely with procurement to align materials and resources with production schedules and project requirements.
Address production bottlenecks or quality issues swiftly, maintaining a focus on cost-effectiveness and client satisfaction.

Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure all products meet Australian standards and client-specific requirements.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any quality concerns that arise during production.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and energy-saving schemes in Australia.

Cost Management: Develop and manage production budgets, tracking expenditures to ensure projects remain financially viable.
Identify opportunities for cost savings through improved production practices and supplier negotiations.
Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality.

Team Leadership and Communication: Lead and mentor production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Streamline communication between production, R&D, logistics, and sales to ensure smooth project execution.
Organize and lead meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to align on project objectives and timelines.
Qualifications: MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Production Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Educational background or experience in product design or industrial design is preferred.
Fluency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) for effective communication with suppliers and clients.
5+ years of experience in production management, with at least 1 year of experience in contract projects within the lighting or manufacturing industry.
Demonstrated experience in project coordination, ensuring that all aspects of projects are managed effectively from initiation to completion.
Proven experience in overseeing production processes, quality control, and supply chain logistics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Working Conditions: Occasional travel to supplier and factory locations may be required.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaborate closely with sales teams, project managers, procurement teams, clients, and external suppliers.
