We have a wealth of construction aptitude that is delivered by an exceptional team of people who pride themselves on building quality homes.What we offer:We are at a very strong stage of company growth due to both existing projects and upcoming developments.The opportunity to join a company that has a strong appreciation for good peopleAdditional paid day off for your birthdayNetworking and Professional Development opportunitiesExposure to residential & development projectsRole overview:This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of construction materials and methods, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.Main responsibilities:Pricing labour, materials and onsite equipment prior to commencement of worksChecking Supplier/Subcontractor quotes and issuing purchase orders for onsite worksAssisting with client sales estimates and upgrade costingsCreating and sustaining ongoing relationships with Subcontractors and SuppliersAssisting in resolving on-site issues relating to purchase ordersEnsuring all project costs adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements in residential constructionResearching and maintaining updated information on market costs for materials, labour, and subcontractor rates to ensure accurate estimatesAssisting in creating and adjusting project timelines and schedules to keep the project on track and avoid costly delaysMaintaining thorough documentation of cost estimates, quotes, schedules, and any changes in project scope or budgetWhat you will bring:Minimum 2 years' experience as an Estimator or in a related roleUnderstanding of construction, techniques, terminology, and costsStrong understanding of workflow stages in residential building, from inception to constructionStrong time management skillsAbility to prioritise and multi-taskHigh attention to detailAbility to read and interpret construction plans.Proven teamwork skillsStrong communication skills, both with internal and external stakeholdersHigh customer and/or stakeholder service levelsProblem solving abilitiesBe adaptive to changing prioritiesTo Apply:Click apply now and upload a current resume addressing the above criteria.Application Process:All applicants will be contacted via email in the first instance to advise if progressing or if unsuccessful.
