You will work closely with the production team leaders and operators to oversee and coordinate work processes, machinery operations and the quality and volume of output.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Oversee nuts received, allocation, drying, bagging, cracking and curing processesEffectively overlay quality and safety requirements with processing requirementsEnsure SWPs are followed to maintain a high standard of product quality including controlling and curing of silosProvide support and work with the teams to achieve daily and weekly operational KPIsActively communicate and work closely with team leaders, quality and maintenance teams to identify inefficiencies and reduce bottlenecksMaintain accurate records for the different areas under your responsibilityProvide training to production team membersHelp roll out new or revised procedures and programs to all team membersCreate an environment for open communication to allow team members to share their ideasMinimum Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing environmentCommitment and strong focus on safety and qualityDemonstrated accuracy working with numerical data and calculationsProven experience leading a teamA solution-focused approach towards your workProven ability to work effectively in a team environmentGood communication skills both verbal and writtenCan competently use Microsoft applications (particularly Excel)The ability to participate in ongoing training and be open to new ideasAvailability to work weekends when requiredExperience working in a similar role in a food manufacturing environmentUnderpinning knowledge of food processingWorking knowledge of GMP and quality management systemsDriver's LicenceAbout us At Stahmann Webster, we pride ourselves on being farm-to-table producers of world-class pecans, walnuts, macadamias, and almonds.
