Production Coordinator

Expression of Interest Production Coordinator (10-month secondment) The Mt Weld Production team is seeking a Production Coordinator to undertake a 10-month secondment during an exciting phase of Mt Weld's evolution.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following competencies:

Relevant technical qualifications or relevant industry experience.Proven experience in the supervision of a team of people within chemical/minerals processing or similar.Strong understanding of processing operation, control, and safety systems.Proficiency in analyzing operational data, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.Proficient computer and strong communication skills. Key responsibilities:

Fulfill a key leadership role within the Production team to create a high-performing culture with a focus on operational excellence.Assist and encourage innovations from the Production teams to deliver safety and continuous improvement initiatives.Assist with communication flow to ensure the Production team operates plant and equipment within prescribed targets and parameters, assisting the site with achieving safety, business, and production targets and goals.Coordinate the recording, reporting, and problem-solving of daily variances.Ensure hazards and sources of loss associated with the process are identified, reported, evaluated, and controlled.Support Supervisors to conduct investigations into Safety, Environmental, Production Loss/Damage related incidents, and lead investigations (where directed).Provide clear and effective instruction (as directed by the Production Superintendent – Processing) to the team, consistent with Lynas values.Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.Execute project work to embed improvements in operational practices.
