Production Coordinator - CAF Rail Australia - Canberra Trust in Motion.
We are currently seeking a Production Coordinator, based in Canberra.
The position is responsible for Supply Chain management and available stock of materials.
They also perform logistic and purchasing activities to support the team working on the trains as part of a Retrofit project between CAF and The Client (CMET).
Key roles and responsibilities: WHSE Support - Health, Safety & Environmental: Reporting.
Supervise local team to ensure following WHSE protocols.
Coordination within CAF Manager as well as incident report and relevant standards.
Warehouse activities: Responsible for the receipt, storage, custody, preparation, and dispatch of materials, as well as controlling the necessary means and staff of the local warehouse.
Assign tasks and manage the Warehouse Technicians, ensuring compliance with the standards and the correct development of the work for the achievement of quality and deadlines.
Coordinate with the Planning Engineer to meet quality targets and deadlines.
Coordinate with Quality Responsible the Non-conformity management.
Inventory of stock material.
Quality: Define and apply Quality Project Management standards and technical specifications.
Inspect and meet Quality assurance in the production processes.
Management and correct handling of measurement equipment to meet standards (conformity/parameters).
Development of technical documentation (procedures, control sheets, reports) for the control activities of the area.
Review and manage process control records.
Documentation backup (papers and digital files).
Communicating and reporting deviations according to the established processes.
Material Receptions: Input Management of materials (transport communication).
Documentation management (delivery note, etc.).
Quantitative and Visual inspection in the reception (material and packaging).
Ensure correct material location in warehouse.
Non-conformity management.
Data Management in ERP: Input material into the system from origin warehouse.
Output material into the system from local warehouse to the line.
Input material into the system from production returns not before verifying its condition.
Delivery of Materials to the Line: Prepare the list of associated materials (kits) and bulk material according to the OMFs.
Agree with the production manager on the order and location in which the kits and materials are to be dispatched to the line.
Imports: Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager in CAF on imports.
Transfer shipment information with freight forwarder and the agent.
Coordinate transport from port and airport to local warehouse.
Other: Comply with the responsibilities assigned in the processes in general and ensure compliance in terms of Quality, Product Safety, Health, Safety and Environment Risk Prevention.
Actively participate in promoting health and safety in the workplace and encouraging others to do the same.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with the New Zealand Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
Other duties as assigned from time to time.
PROFILE Qualifications: Possess a trade qualification in Electrical technical disciplines and/or workplace experience in relevant industries such as Engineering, Automotive, Rail Construction, Manufacturing, Electrical/Electronics.
Minimum Experience: Experience of at least two years in industrial electrical maintenance activities.
Recommended experience in railway maintenance, electrical area.
Drawings interpretation.
