This pivotal role entails leading and facilitating the weekly production schedule for our beverages department, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining stringent operational standards.
Main Purpose of the Role: The primary objective of this role is to oversee the weekly production schedule, optimizing production efficiency and capability to support the strategic goals of the organization. Additionally, this position is instrumental in maintaining day-to-day operations and achieving operational KPIs in Safety, Quality, Performance, and Culture.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the weekly production schedule, ensuring adherence to plan, volume targets, and waste reduction initiatives.Analyse daily production outcomes, identifying variances and implementing corrective measures to enhance performance.Coordinate departmental training activities to address skill gaps and enhance operational proficiency.Support workforce management activities, including rostering, overtime planning, and recruitment strategies.Drive achievement of annual departmental targets related to food safety and consumer satisfaction.Chair and participate in departmental meetings to foster effective communication and problem-solving.Collaborate with site management to meet quality system objectives and regulatory compliance standards.Work closely with Maintenance and SDI teams to optimize product and process effectiveness.Oversee inventory control processes and ensure adherence to quality control protocols.We're seeking someone with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, coupled with robust leadership capabilities. Proficiency in inventory management, food safety, quality assurance, WHS, and Industrial Relations standards is a must. Whether you thrive independently or as part of a team, your ability to engage and lead will be invaluable. Being computer literate, especially in MS Office applications, is essential, as is a personal commitment to workplace health and safety. With a strong customer focus and a collaborative mindset, you'll be instrumental in driving operational excellence.
