DMW has a position for a Production Co-ordinator to join the Toowoomba team.
With the growth of our mechanical and fabrication workshops, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, highly organized person with a can-do approach to augment the production system.

DMW is a progressive company specializing in high-end vehicle modifications focusing on dual cab conversions, GVM/suspension upgrades, and chassis extensions.
In addition, we design and manufacture utility trays, high-end canopies, integrated assemblies, locker boxes, and an ever-expanding list of quality products for the 4WD leisure and touring market.

Key duties of the role will include:
Participation and significant input in Planning/Production Meetings.
Take delivery of customers' vehicles and the booking-in process.
Assign, schedule, and manage tasks to internal and external resources.
Build and maintain beneficial business relationships with external service providers.
Workforce allocation to maintain schedule including proactive communication of this schedule.
Assist with the development and implementation of mechanical/fitting procedures and processes (Written).
Work with purchasing to ensure parts, materials & supplies are picked and ready prior to jobs commencing.
Assess, understand and take ownership of the co-ordination of builds & jobs.
Communicate and co-ordinate with sales, customers, staff, suppliers, and sub-contractors as necessary.
Ensure sufficient allocation of resources to allow full quality assurance checks prior to handover.
Assist with warranty claims including communication with customers and resolve in conjunction with the warranty officer.
Provide accurate job cards, revisions, and all necessary information to mechanics and external resources.
Project positivity to influence and motivate production departments to be 'solutions focused' and 'outcome driven'.
Monitor and report on individual actual job timeframes compared to allocated hours.
Assist with upholding workshop safety, work ethic, attitude, and behavior.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Proficient computing skills including Email, MS Word, and Excel.
First-class time and task management skills.
Portray a positive and helpful disposition.
Ability to communicate with customers as required.
Skilled in conversing with staff in a workshop environment.
Ability to work independently to organize and prioritize demands, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with competing requirements.
Possess a positive attitude and be a team player.
