Production/Chemical Blender

Do you have experience working with Polyurethanes? Are you looking for a career and ready to further develop your skills within a dynamic team in a supportive and friendly team environment? Located in Dandenong South our client is a industry leader within ther field and are now seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Perm Production Blender! Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm Responsibilities:

Operate blending equipment to produce high-quality chemical products according to specifications.
Follow blending recipes and procedures accurately to ensure consistency and quality.
Complete around 6-7 jobs orders from start to finish daily.
Monitor blending processes, making adjustments as necessary to maintain efficiency and safety.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including handling dangerous goods.
Perform routine maintenance on blending equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of blending area.
Quality control

Requirements:

Previous experience in chemical/food blending and batching preferred.
Polyurethane experience/knowledge will be highly regarded.
Forklift license is essential.
Experience working in production enviroment
Willingness to learn and undergo training
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Must be process driven.
Knowledge/experience of with LEAN principles.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills (bother verbal and written) and maths skills
Flexibility and adaptability a must.
Must have unlimited work rights in Australia
