As part of the new Operating Model, we are looking for a Product & Underwriting Manager - Casualty  to join our Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane office.
This leadership role is responsible for the profitability, underwriting and oversight of Ansvar's Casualty portfolios across all associated product classes and customer segments - including SME, Mid-Market and Corporate (Strategic Accounts).
The role will focus on setting the underwriting appetite and underwriting standards for the Casualty product offerings; and driving underwriting excellence through execution of a comprehensive underwriting quality governance and assurance framework.
Key responsibilities Underwriting – appetite, guidelines and standards Underwriting authority licence and accreditation Product quality & standards Rating / Pricing tools  Underwriting governance & assurance Technical expert - including Strategic Client management Build organisation-wide underwriting capability Knowledge, skills and experience Extensive experience (min.
