Delivering this technical support results in customer equipment acceptance, parts, and service sales, adding value to both our customers and Sandvik Rock Processing Australia. The focus of this role will be to provide expert advice and technical training on Sandvik's Crushing and Screening equipment.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives for products and processes based on customer feedback and/or operating conditions observed in the field.
This role requires travel both domestically and internationally within the APAC region.
What you'll bring: Proven experience in solving complex technical issues. Current Driver's Licence. Demonstrated practical experience with installation and commissioning of mining equipment. Understanding of mechanical and hydraulic principles to be able to provide technical support for maintenance issues and operational issues. High level of knowledge of Sandvik Crushing and Screening products. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required from time to time. Ability to maintain a level of professionalism even in difficult situations. Passionate attitude regarding building strong, effective, long-term relationships with customers Confidence and skills necessary to deliver face to face classroom and work area-based training. Demonstrated ability to be adaptable and flexible to changing work priorities and requirements. Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously.
