The Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity for a trade qualified HD Fitter to join our team as a Product Support Advisor for Excavator. This permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long-term career in a global company. Working an 8/6 roster, you will work as part of a team and drive the reliability and availability of the mobile fleet while keeping an impeccable safety record.
Main responsibilities include: Organising and providing feedback on any reliability related issues or concerns regarding the large fleet of Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) mining equipment onsiteProviding assistance to Service Personnel and Parts and Service Advisors as required, helping with parts and technical concernsIdentify areas for improvement and work with the customer to address any shortcomingsEscalate all issues to relevant teams and within a timely mannerAt all times maintain an open communication and good working relationship with customers, peers and other departmentsEnsure that all interactions with internal and external customers and stakeholders is professional and courteous as you are required to continuously 'Promote & Enhance' Hitachi's promise of Total Customer SatisfactionTo be successful in this role you will have: Relevant Diesel Mechanic trade qualificationsLooking for the next step in your diesel mechanic careerPrevious experience in a leadership role with frontline operational experience with the desire to develop, influence and motivate a team of operational staff (Desirable)Working knowledge of planning and scheduling with the ability to deliver in tight timeframesDemonstrated background experience with Hitachi mobile equipment will be highly regardedGood communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long term relationshipsSafety focus and abide by site safety processesBenefits We are offering:
