We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.Key Responsibilities:Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Developing, maintaining, and maximising relationships with our customers of GEHO industry pumps for the Asia Pacific region.Assist in preventing competitors from establishing a long term presence in GEHO core business.Assist with pricing calculations.Initiating, managing and maintaining service agreements in your region. Assist End User Sales Division in implementing service agreements into the Australian market.Composition and management of aftermarket sales budgets in consultation with the Regional GEHO Product Manager.Provide up to date technical information to clients, ensure that all clients are aware of our technical advancements.Providing technical recommendations and support to customers.Assist customers with any troubleshooting of equipment and service problems where required.Identifying and promoting new business opportunities to profitably grow the business in the Area.Handle spare parts technical enquiries and pricing and working closely with the Customer Support Team on technical issues.After training, this role would evolve into external sales and site support which will involve local and overseas travel on a regular basis.Training in the Netherlands will be required on an annual basis.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:A minimum of 3–4 years relevant mechanical/electrical background experience (Minimum Cert III in Mechanical Engineering).Experience working on heavy specialised equipment such as rotating equipment, highly preferred.Intermediate to advanced MS Office (Excel and Word).Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
