Product Specialist - Health (12 month contract) Join the Product team as their new Product Specialist.
In this role, you will support the Senior Product Manager - Health, Head of Product, and the PHI team to deliver on HCF's strategic objectives from a product perspective.
The role actively contributes to product management including maintaining gross margin and product performance, collateral management, and ongoing industry and competitor analysis, as well as product development, in particular collaborating with cross-functional teams to help deliver Corporate products and propositions that are fit-for-purpose and valued by customers.
Other functions of the role include delivering on projects including annual BAU projects (e.g., rate change, benefit review/indexation) and other business-wide initiatives and/or projects, risk management, and compliance with all relevant legislation, mandatory customer servicing requirements (e.g., PHIS), stakeholder management inclusive of supporting stakeholders with their product needs/questions.
Key Responsibilities Assist in developing strategy and roadmap that supports the product portfolio, focusing on the Corporate portfolio.Help develop new products and/or customer value-adds for the Corporate market.Complete deep dives on under-performing products and ensure appropriate reporting on product performance is in place.Assist to develop and enhance product dashboards.Conduct regular product research and analysis to assess market competitive position of HCF's product offerings.About You A minimum of 3 years' experience as a PHI Product Analyst/Specialist or in an insurance or financial services category.Possess good commercial acumen and communication skills (written & verbal).Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Demonstrated 'Get There Together' working style and understanding that best results are achieved with teamwork and that the nature of this role requires a high level of collaboration.Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.Project management capabilities (agile experience is preferred).What next?
