They are looking for a Product Specialist to join their Feed Management and CSS Brand in Hull, East Yorkshire on a full-time hybrid basis (2 days per week in office).
About the role: As a Product Specialist within the Productcaster team, you will be responsible for driving the development and success of our suite of marketing tools. You will be responsible for understanding the market needs to define product vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, and driving revenue growth. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, effective communication skills, and a deep understanding of marketing, business, and technology.
Key responsibilities include: Product ExpertiseSupporting clients to use our technology with at least 20% of time spent on revenue-driving activities (active platform management).Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals and customer needs.Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.Performance Tracking and Analysis: Monitor product performance metrics, analyse user feedback, and iterate on product features to continuously improve user experience.Product Development OwnerCollaborating with internal teams, define and prioritise the product roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives, documenting new requests in line with team processes.Work closely with internal stakeholders to prioritise features and enhancements based on value, effort, and strategic importance.Define user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure clear understanding of product requirements and success criteria.Product MarketingCollaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop and manage marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement and new customer acquisition.Lead go-to-market planning for new features and tools.Own the development of new sales collateral, including one-pagers, case studies, demos, decks and FAQs.Leverage customer insight to develop positioning and messaging which differentiates Productcaster in the market.Raise Productcaster's profile in the industry, through attending industry events and other media opportunities.You are asked to attend the office in Hull, Fruit Market 2 days per week, the rest of the week can be done from home. For the right candidate, we may also consider greater flexibility around office time.
About You: As a Product Specialist, you'll have extensive experience working with product feeds for retail clients, analysing performance and making strategic recommendations. You will have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, evaluate performance metrics and make data-driven decisions. As well as being highly organised, you will plan own, and team work effectively and can set priorities and manage resources. Other key skills and knowledge include:
Experience within Marketing Technology teams.Proficient understanding of SEM, social platforms, and digital marketing tools.Proven experience driving marketing initiatives for marketing technology or SaaS products.Strong knowledge of Google Shopping, the CSS Programme and Feed Management software.Strong business knowledge and experience implementing strategic initiatives to drive forward product development and growth.Strong understanding of product management principles and practices.Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without authority.On offer is a starting salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum as well as a range of benefits including:
