Our teams are tasked with solving deeply complex industry problems, revolutionising the logistics industry.Role overviewJoin us as a Product Specialist in the Container Freight Station (CFS) team and play a crucial role in addressing core challenges within the logistics industry.Our Product Specialists are problem solvers and subject matter experts. They work with our customers to understand their issues, identify the root cause, and work with software engineers to provide a solution. They bridge the gap between business and technology, and make sure we truly understand our customers' needs.Together we will change the world of logistics, one innovation at a time.Your Responsibilities:Investigate and devise solutions for complex CFS warehouse issuesProvide high-quality customer service through 2nd line incident management and supportDraft business requirements for new features and functionalitiesAssess existing functionalities, recommending areas for improvementDocument supporting content and release notesAnalyse and document processesIdentify and evaluate inefficiencies, suggesting optimal business practices and system functionality/behaviourTroubleshoot problems in a timely manner and solve for root causeConduct product development reviews (UAT/QA) for software fixes and new featuresCollaborate with customers and development throughout the lifecycle of new featuresAbout You:You will be a specialist in CFS software development and have a strong understanding of factors that drive efficiency and productivity gains within the operation. You should have experience and exposure to freight forwarding, customs control, landside transport, and an overall understanding of how the end-to-end supply chain operates.You will have experience working in any of the following regions - China, APAC/Oceania, Americas, or the European Union.You are a clear communicator and attentive listener, adept at uncovering the root cause of problems. Thriving in challenging situations, you appreciate the dynamics of a flexible, flat-structured work environment and possess the ability to delve beyond surface-level issues.You should be a self-starter and be able to self-manage assigned tasks. Expect that you will need to upskill to meet a variety of topic areas related to warehousing, and be involved in cross team work related to international forwarding and customs control concepts.Your Qualifications:Extensive experience in container freight station related logistics/supply chain areasExperience using our flagship product, CargoWise is valuableAdditionally, having a strong understanding of the customs control process on cargo, and international freight forwarding, are skills that are highly desirable.Experience and understanding with landside transport movements also desirable.Strong communication and collaboration skillsDemonstrated self-driven learning and self-development are critical to success in this roleBackground in software development and integration is advantageousExperience investigating problems within CFS Warehouses and solving with an IT solutionAbout WiseTech GlobalAt WiseTech Global we build leading technology solutions that help the logistics industry move goods globally.
