Product Specialist – BLASTSHIELD Services MTi GROUP is an industry-leading design and manufacturer of mining products.

About the role: We're expanding our operations in QLD and seeking a full-time Product Specialist to help us grow our teams and service our mining clients through the use of BLASTSHIELD.
The role will draw on your technical expertise and experience in blasting to introduce best practice use of BLASTSHIELD to improve the blasting quality for our clients.
We're looking for a highly motivated individual with extensive knowledge of drill and blast to assist in the implementation of our service.
The role involves a 7 days on and 7 days off roster, across all BLASTSHIELD sites across the Bowen Basin in QLD.
All BLASTSHIELD product training will be provided to the successful candidate.
What you will be doing: As a senior member of the BLASTSHIELD team, you'll take on a leadership role that requires excellent technical knowledge of blasting and implementation of BLASTSHIELD and related products.
You will engage with customers, advising how and where BLASTSHIELD can be utilised on-site.
You will lead site-based teams, mentor and train new personnel, monitor compliance and ensure BLASTSHIELD best practices are used across all sites.
You'll forge strong client relationships, identify new opportunities on-site, and assist clients throughout the process to help maximize every opportunity and achieve the ultimate blasting result.
What you bring: QLD Security Clearance Current Australian Driver's License S11 SOA (QLD) Coal board medical (preferred) An impeccable safety record and commitment towards safety Strong leadership skills Cert IV in training and assessment (preferred) A positive attitude to customer service Ability to work as a team member.
Shot firing license.
