The shift times required to work will be spread between 08:00am to 8:00pm and 10:00pm (Thursday - Saturday). As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday). Recruitment Process and Key Dates We require adequate availability, without holidays booked, during the peak trading period (from mid-October to March) for this position. If your application is successful, you may be invited to complete a video screening interview as part of the recruitment process. If your application is progressed, you will be invited to attend an in-person interview with the hiring team. About this work area As Product Recovery & Quality Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Engaging and assisting customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions. Presenting IKEA products in As-Is Shopfloor using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store. Taking necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging them back into a saleable condition. Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality. Supporting the quality work in the store to constantly improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products. Always considering the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products. Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that cultivates a strong understanding of product recovery, quality and compliance processes. Maintaining a safe and secure environment within the IKEA store, always ensuring the well-being of both customers and co-workers. As Product Recovery & Quality Co-worker you are or have:
